N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine is a form of the amino acid cysteine. Acetyl L-Carnitine is an acetylated form of carnitine, an amino acid derivative. The body also makes small amounts of alpha lipoic acid. Per serving, the label lists 600 mg, 500 mg, and 200 mg.

Folate comes from Quatrefolic®, a (6S)-5-MTHF glucosamine salt. A serving lists 800 mcg of it, shown as 1,360 mcg DFE. Vitamin B12 is methylcobalamin at 250 mcg per serving.

The label lists green tea leaf extract (45% EGCG) at 45 mg, broccoli seed extract (TrueBroc®, 13% glucoraphanin) at 40 mg, and trans-Resveratrol at 10 mg. The resveratrol comes from the roots of Polygonum cuspidatum. Amounts are per 4 capsule serving.

Magnesium is dimagnesium malate and calcium is citrate. Zinc and manganese are bisglycinate chelates, and selenium is a glycinate complex. Chromium is O-polynicotinate (ChromeMate®), iodine is potassium iodide, and potassium is citrate.

The label tells anyone who is pregnant or nursing to consult a physician. If you take prescription medicine, have a health condition, or have surgery coming up, check first too. A Mixwell pharmacist can go over the label with you.

It may, depending on what you take. Acetyl L-Carnitine may interact with blood thinners such as warfarin. Alpha lipoic acid and L-carnitine may affect how thyroid medicine works. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements notes that too much of a nutrient is more likely when people take a multivitamin plus single nutrient products. We can help you avoid doubling up.

Some vitamins, like B12 and thiamin, have small Daily Values, so one serving can show a very high percentage. A percent Daily Value is not a limit. A few nutrients, including vitamin A, niacin, vitamin B6, and zinc, do have upper intake limits. If you take other multivitamins or single nutrient products, ask a pharmacist first.

The label says it is made without gluten, yeast, artificial colors, or artificial flavors. It does not say vegan, vegetarian, soy free, dairy free, or non GMO, and it contains green tea leaf extract. If you have a food sensitivity or diet need, ask us.
