Mixwell Compounding Pharmacy is an independent, PCCA-member compounding pharmacy in Chino, California. We prepare customized medications — different doses, different forms, without unnecessary fillers — on the order of a licensed prescriber.

Our story

Built for the people the shelf forgot.

Most prescriptions come in one strength, one form, one recipe. That works for most people, most of the time. It does not work for the child who cannot swallow a capsule, the patient who reacts to a dye, or the pet who spits out every tablet.

Compounding exists for that gap. Working from a prescriber's order, we prepare each medication individually — adjusting the strength, changing the delivery form, or leaving out an ingredient that causes a problem.

We are a non-sterile compounding pharmacy. We do not prepare injectables or sterile products. What we do, we do carefully, in a purpose-built lab, with pharmacists who answer the phone.

Every preparation is compounded individually from a prescriber's order — not pulled off a shelf.

Only what belongs in it

Dyes, fillers, and preservatives come out when they cause problems. Nothing goes in without a reason.

Honest about limits

We are non-sterile only, and we say so. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and we never pretend otherwise.
